POT-2 — the automated lab

We built POT-2 to make new molecules on demand and to generate tens of thousands of data points in an HTE mode. Dispensing, reaction, workup, purification, and analytics run on a platform we designed and operate ourselves, with every dispense, reaction, and analytical reading logged from building block to final vial.

Operates around the clock

Once queued, a plate moves through dispensing, reaction, workup, purification, and LC/MS without manual handoff. Reactions cycle through the deck day and night, so iteration speed is limited by chemistry, not lab hours.

Closed-loop with the model

Each well is analyzed by LC/MS as it comes off the deck. Verdicts feed back into the model, so the next round of conditions can be queued quickly.

Generates its own data

Successes, partial conversions, and failures are recorded with the exact conditions that produced them, creating the dataset that onepot CORE and our generative models are built on.

Designed and built in-house

Lab, mechanical, electrical, and software work all happen under one roof in South San Francisco, so when something needs to change, the team that ships it is right there.
